The Stamford Public Education focuses its efforts on improving literacy skills in elementary school students and preparing middle and high school students for post secondary success in college or career training.

We are a member of the national Public Education Network and the Connecticut Consortium of Education Foundations and we work closely with the Local Education Foundations in Norwalk, Bridgeport, Hartford and Yonkers.

Our programs include: The Stamford Mentoring Program, Everybody Wins! Power Lunch, LIFE Tutoring, the Classroom Libraries initiative, and college preparation for all high school students through Naviance Family Connection.
